In the February of 1977 Paul (I never did know his surname) took me to the Raglan District Church Union.  Some of the services were aimed at me, ie. False God, Sweet Vengence, etc,.  The services were taken by a Rev. C F Hay and Canon W P Whelen.

Whilst on the subject of church, when I went and stayed with Laurie Zieglar in California in the late 70's (after I had returned to the UK) she took me to church where a film was shown about an actress who was  contemplating suicide.   One of the reasons I do not go to church to this very day because of all this.

I went back to UK in August 77 as I didn't trust nor could I confide in anyone. It was a surprise on my mother's birthday, she wasn't surprised,

I could tell, I hadn't seen my family for almost six years and the greeting I recieved was "Oh what are you doing here?"  The 'certain people' still "got at me".   I met a Jewish chap at the Cafe de Paris in Piccadilly, London.  I gave him my phone number.  We arranged to meet at a certain place in the West End.  When I arrived, he was no where to be seen, instead two little Jewish boys were at the meeting place.  Another cowardly joke of the 'certain people'.  How did they know about this meeting and many other things....phone tapping and surveillance!

Before my return to the UK and whilst I was still in Raglan, I had made a dress out of some curtains my ex mother-in-law had given to me.   I wore it to a party where there was a film scout, this time from the States, Hollywood.  We were sitting on the floor chatting when he spilt a drink over the dress I had not long finished making to see my reaction.
